I don’t understand all the sarcasm when FReepers are trying to share and read legit posts. Instead, the threads are being cluttered with jokes and sarcasm, making FR a hard place to take seriously. Is that what we want? Can we hold off a couple of days on all the BS please.

I think we are just anticipating what comes next. After the suspect is apprehended, all the MSM speculation about him being a Tea Partier will have to go into the memory hole, which will require approximately 15 seconds. After that time, that speculation will have never happened.
If the suspect is a Muslim, there will be the usual mad MSM spinning, because NOT ALL MUSLIMS ARE TERRORISTS! and WE MUST STOP THE CONSERVATIVE REDNECKS FROM LYNCHING MUSLIMS! and ISN'T IT REALLY ALL ISRAEL'S FAULT?
This crime is horrible and serious, but the media coverage will turn it into a farce. Freepers are just one step ahead of the media.
