OMG!!! Me and the g/f walked there Sat. night!!!
Boylston Street, we always go there. The building on the left is the old Anthropologie store - been there 1,000’s of times.
We took pics of ourselves crossing the finish line on Saturday.

Someone on WRKO said something about Fairfield St, which might be that—that is, nr junction of Boylston & Fairfield. Boston North/South streets are often alphabetical in initials leading west: Dartmouth, Exeter, so Fairfield would be a block west of Exeter, corner of Boylston

excellent point. I would think a big event would have bomb sniffing dogs? Maybe they did. Regardless, there's just no way to protect the 24-mile route. There are crowds virtually the entire way.
