HOUSTON A filming of a rap music video turned violent early Saturday morning when a group of unidentified suspects opened fire on the production crew in front of a house just south of downtown, police said.
According to the Houston Police Department, at about 2:30 a.m. officers responded to a call of a shooting near Nettleton and Reeves streets. When they arrived, they found a man had been shot, and had the victim transported to Ben Taub Hospital in serious but stable condition.
Police said that a couple of unknown men opened fire of the production crew from across the street in a church parking lot. The rapper who was being featured in the music video was hit an unknown number of times.
The suspects fled on foot and remain at large. The name of the rap artist has not been released yet.

Clearly Sheila Jackson Lee is gonna have to yell at her staff some more. Apparently there were cameras out there shooting a music video for members "of the community" and she was not in front of said cameras.
You know that Sheila's staff give her the worst ratings and don't stay long in the job?
And he used that on the album cover. Talk about cred.
