Actually there is a website (not Gun Broker.com)that allows you to post firearms for sale. I have purchased a couple from people advertising there. One was a dealer, the other a deputy sheriff. I went to the dealer's shop to buy the weapon and met the deputy at a truck stop, where we exchanged information and I purchased the weapon. He showed me his badge and ID card and I showed him my CCW license. All above board.

Not legal in California.

It may not be legal in California, but it is in Arizona. The free state just east of California. What is to stop someone from LOOKING at the web site. Calling someone in Arizona and driving the 300 or so miles to Phoenix and buying the gun?

California can not block access to the web can they?
California does not stop and search passenger cars coming across the state line, do they?
If so, California is one hell of a lot more powerful than I thought.
