"So much for due process. They dont even pretend that we have any rights anymore."
They had plenty of practice against fathers and families during the '80s and '90s with the support of government, business and academic leaders. Now, it's everyone else's turn.
Have fun. Enjoy the slide. And BTW, I know who "they" are. Most people involved in politics have no idea.

Sooner or later everybody gets their turn in the barrel.
"I'm not divorcee father so I didn't say anything."
"I'm not a smoker so I didn't say anything."
"I'm not a gun owner so I didn't say anything."
Wake up, people! Government does not stop until the people stop it.

Thanks, neverdem.

Re: “Are the feds going to be making presumptive diagnoses of dementia based on age, and then say you're too old to have firearms?”
I'd be in favor of presumptive diagnoses for criminal behavior.
If they disarmed all Black males, America's murder and robbery rate would drop by 50%.

The House of Representatives should gut this bill and change it so that it applies only the VOTER ID requirements, and NOT to gun control.

It's time to push for Constitutional carry nationwide, i.e. no permits or licenses are required to carry concealed, among a bunch of other unrelated initiatives, e.g. green energy BS, Common Core, immigration reform, actual gun grabbing in blue states, etc. We have to get just as organized as the left and push back. Agreed. If we don't successfully fight them within the system now, we'll be fighting them in the streets, later.

A local judge around here suspended a permit because the elderly man accidentally burned his pant leg while starting a fire in the wood stove, on the premise it was a sign of dementia"
There will no end of excuses and duplicitous behavior aimed at denying Americans their 2nd Amendment rights. Up next; Americans' 1st Amendment rights. The looters will not stop until all the Bill of Rights are wiped off the face of the Earth.

Why Are the Feds Trying to Identify All Gun Owners in Missouri?Because they're fascist tyrants too arrogant and power-hungry to realize that 99.99% of our lives is none of their effing business?

This year will go down in history for the first time a civilized nation has full gun registration. Our streets will be safer, our police more efficient, and the world will follow our lead into the future.

We had a vote here in KS about guns and the mentally ill and people voted that even the mentally ill have a right to defend themselves. Even my obama loving colleague voted that way.

I agree. Time to push legislation everywhere and on all topics. Keep the leftards busy and exhaust them.

There is ONE solution at this point... as I am sure many of you have identified. Sell all your licensed firearms... and allow all your permits and licenses to expire.
Buy guns like criminals do.
You are now a criminal.
