we don’t have a 30-odd seat advantage in the SCOTUS. I’m not assuming anything, I’m simply applying common sense.
How many of those 30 Reps are RINOs? How many can be turned with the right amount of flattery and bribery for their districts? How many of them are from blue-state liberal gun-grabbing areas?
You may be right, I’m not disputing that. I’m simply saying that this illegal infringement on the right to keep and bear arms (see tagline) should never have gotten to this point. And if one firewall—40 Republicans in the Senate—fails, there’s nothing to stop the others—the House and ultimately the Supreme Court—from failing too. You can’t rely on them simply because of the “R” after their name. Today proved that.
