I guess so. But the liberal ideological “machine” is more visible, at least in the media. Older political machines provide the foot soldiers and civilian hangers-on for political armies whose generals comf from a different environment.
It also explains the Democrats' drive to eliminate the Electoral College, which would strip the rest of us of the last little bit of protection we have from these people and their brutish cynicism.

Voter fraud has been around for two hundred years...it’s nothing new or spectacular. If you got a digitalized listing of registered voters in Florida and New York....you could compare and find at least five thousand voters who vote in both states because they travel back and forth and claim residences in both.
Reagan beat back the machine, so it can be done. The FFs left us the tools to dismantle it, if we want to use them. What we don’t have is much more time before it gets really difficult.
