Sounds like they punted and passed a bunch of stuff that is already law just to make it look like they “did something.” Wonder what DU is saying about this deal?
That's pretty much how it looks to me. If someone would have told me three months ago, this is all that would be passing out of the Senate, I would have been pleasantly surprised! They ended up appearing to fight like hell just to get this much from the dem controlled Senate, when it could still be dead on arrival in the House.
As a die hard 2A supporter and owner of lots of scary looking 'black guns', I'll take this as a huge victory. Just be sure to scream and raise hell about it, just to make them think it hurts....
