I know I should not be but every day I am more amazed at how far they go. Each day brings at least one more sign that while we have been earning a living (asleep at the switch?)they have been undermining our country. I’m an old guy on the downward side of life and will probably not see the final transformation/showdown or how it will turn out. I weep for my country and all of our families that may never have the freedom that I have had.
I do not weep for those that have put us in this position.

We have some in our family at the same stage as you, saying these same things.
It is heartbreaking to know what they’ve lived thru, served our country, marveled at grandchildren taking up the mantle, but get really down from time to time - since 2009 to be sure...
It helps only a little to remember ‘life was not promised to be fair. . . ‘
