I was introduced to Osamascare yesterday. I had a nuclear coronary examination. I went on Medicare over five years ago and hadn’t paid “one single dime” in copay since then. The girl caught me as I was leaving and she said I owed $19.78, so I paid in cash, grumbling the whole time. It appears that the president wasn’t lying when he said the implementation of his plan would not cost us “one single dime.” In this case it cost 197 dimes. I’m sure this was just a “bump in the road” and they’ll eventually get these little wrinkles ironed out.
Several of my docs are leaving their 25yr practices and going into university teaching, or just retiring.
I'm 63 and am opting to waiting until 65 to sign-up for MediCare, but it may be emptied-out into MedicAid to "redistribute the wealth and income of us "maker", to the "takers".
It's not the politicians I'm worried about - we can eventually get them voted-out and reverse some/part of the damage they've done - it's the 47-52% of Americans who now fully-rely on "Uncle Santa Claus" for everything, and who don't want to work/won't work for a living, anymore. We're never going to change them.
