It would appear that eliminating the liberal arts sections of our universities, along with eliminating public schools, might be the most efficient means by which we can actually restore morality, history, and intellect to our institutions of education.
Face it, folks, if your children have a lib arts degree, the probability that they actually have a real education is sadly close to zero.
The sad thing is that my father - who had a high school education from Jesuits, had sufficient knowledge of history and politics that he could easily defeat the Obamadork in any debate.
I know nothing of Jesuit schools but I suspect that a high school diploma for your father was equal to a current doctorate in liberal arts or a master’s at least.
My mother was salutatorian of her public high school graduating class in 1933 and she was far more educated than any recent recipient of a bachelor of liberal arts degree. By the way she finished high school at 16 years because there was no twelfth year then. She turned seventeen in the summer a few weeks after her graduation. I read some of her old textbooks and they were not easy by any means.
