I believe the Treaty has to come to a Vote before they reject it,if Harry Reed does not bring it to a Vote it is in effect until he does

The UN only passed it on Tuesday. I don’t believe the pResident has signed off on the treaty, which is required before ratification by the Senate. This vote was on a resolution signaling the Senate’s opposition to the treaty so we are safe, for now.

As an aside, McCaskill voted against it. Thanks, Todd, you tool.

I don't think so. If that were true, we'd have been bound by Kyoto for a decade or so, and we weren't. It never came up for an official ratification vote either. It lost an advisory vote by the margin this one should have, 97-3 or so.
