Who said Mormons were Christians? Christians dont call Mormons Christians. They are Mormons. Its a doctrinal thing. The Mormons say they are Christians.
Back when I got into Scientology, I showed my Mormon convert grandmother (the only Mormon in the family) some Scn literature.
The first comment out of her mouth was, "But there's nothing about Christ here!"
She was a Mormon, her very first thought in evaluating a religion was: is it Christ centered?
Please enlighten me as to how that is anti-Christian.
I see a tree. I see its fruits. I know what kind of tree it is.

You can call yourself anything you'd like. There's nothing Christians can do about it. Except tell you that the Jesus you celebrate isn't the Jesus of the Bible. Doctrine is everything. Paul wrote a whole book about it (1 Timothy), and reiterated it throughout his other books.
So if you want to paint stripes on a donkey and call it a zebra, be my guest. But know this: no Bible-believing Christian has fellowship with the Mormon church, and it isn't because of preference in worship. Sorry. I still love you though.
