On February 7, Bocelli was an honorary guest at the 61st Annual National Prayer Breakfast, held at the Hilton Washington, where he performed “Ombra mai fu” and Franz Schubert’s “Ave Maria” in the presence of President Barack Obama, First Lady Michelle Obama, Vice Present Joe Biden, as well as other political leaders.

Don't know if I ever told you this but this first person singular was a member of the Tabernacle Choir youth choir when such was a teenager. Went on to take serious voice training and sang serious leads in musicals while in college including Billy Bigelow in Carousel. Point being is that I have always appreciated good music and especially choral music. Toured Europe with the Santa Clara University Chorale in 1984 singing in all of the great cathedrals. You can just imagine how many times I have performed "The Lords Prayer" in LDS wards. Fact is they wore me out. I just thought the music was something special to share on Easter. That's all.
