Oh, Man! Creature Features. The Bowery Boys Sat AM” That was NYC WNEW channel 5 and they also played another
Bowery Boys 90 min movie on Sunday AM to compete with CH 11 WPIX weekly Abbott and Costello 90 min movie. Those were 11:30 am to 1pm I recall.
That is where I was first exposed to the Marx Brothers too.
I remember seeing Duck Soup (Freedonia) first and then Monkey Business (stow-aways on cruise ship) second as a young teen and those two are still my two favorites because I think they had no real serious plots. I remember that first time and both made me laugh through those whole movies.
