A retired astronaut and a celebrity elected official’s husband are involved and police quickly determine that they did nothing wrong. I wonder how that would have worked out for Joe Citizen?

Clearly, we now live in a society with two sets of rules. Even the current gun control hysteria doesn't apply to them - only to us, who are so dangerous and unpredictable and who don't even care about the poor and minorities like they do that we deserve regular police beatings just to reduce the risk that we might someday try to hurt one of the lightworkers. /s

Most states have “harassment of wildlife” laws, and sea lions are protected under the Marine Mammal Protection Act. A guy was recently fined a large amount for merely riding a protected whale.

Joe citizen would most likely be facing a minimum of a large fine. “Equal Protection” doesn’t equal protection.

It would have worked out to a $250,000 fine ...
