My little circle, both IRL and online, is being hit hard right now for some reason.
Please, if you will ... keep us updated.
The hospital should have a patient advocate available to her. One of her nurses should be able to get this person to her immediately. It’s concerning that you said that protective services had to be called earlier. Please keep us updated. Prayers continuing.

Thanks for the ping, LucyT. Prayers up for Mesta!
Prayers up for our Mesta!
You are still in my Prayers.
Mesta went into heart failure in the middle of all this, has gotten a gazillion shots and is now waiting for morphine.
The doc seems to be an Obamist. He said a few things that no normal person would be saying, thinking that Mesta couldn’t hear. But she reads lips.
Among other things, that she didn’t have nurses at home, so she shouldn’t have them in hospital. Also, that she should get herself home, if she wanted medication.
Dunno what next.
Still praying for you. Hopeing you get better soon.
Stay calm like the still water and you can overcome
anything.

This is starting to go toward the weird side. Mesta has rights and one of those rights is to be aware of her care, who is giving that care, knowledge of her condition and what all medications administered are supposed to be for. If am wrong will retract. Weird things going on if these rights are not being given freely by the people treating her.
So....Protective services is on the way?
I have a friend who has been through similar circumstancess. She is looking up info for me (in the same state as MM). I will post you if following info is not exact (or if I get additional info).
Mesta needs a governmental patient advocate. They are obtained through the county’s HUMAN SERVICES DEPT and will represent Mesta.
Does hospital have an ombudsman? Most hospitals have one on staff. Contact them.
Going into Easter weekend. May need to make some noise. Say it’s an emergency. Doctor causing the patient extreme stress.
Keep diary of what is transpiring as best you can -— with dates/time/ who said what, etc.
I don't know anything about the situation. You're asking the wrong FReeper.
my apology.
Just what I was going to post more or less - patient advocate groups are all over, and the ombudsman thing. Maybe a freeper nearby could help. Someone needs to be THERE and on HER side.
This sounds really serious and I am so worried.
Thank you!!! for ping.
Oh my goodness prayers up for her!
Will pray for her.
Just read the updates, and I’m praying. How horrific for her (and I imagine for you as well being on the phone, and not able to help)! This is quite concerning, especially with the heart failure, and now morphine? I can’t imagine...
Dear Lord, please hold Mesta in your loving embrace, and send your angels to protect her. Amen.
Everyone working on behalf of Mesta is in my thoughts and prayers as well. {{hugs}}
Perhaps the Joint Commission should be informed? Is this hospital JCAH accredited?
