Yes, we do need rain here. Our lake is over 50 feet from the full level. I know some lakes that are much worse, but this is the only water supply for the entire area.

It’s getting quite scary. Some of our lakes where we get our
water are dry. Completly.

People are drilling water wells, but now the water table is
dropping from that...and water used in drilling for oil/gas!

Oh, well...God has a plan....

In "Jesus Christ Superstar", Andy stole liberally from Ray Charles, Gershwin and Stravinsky. Mahler he left alone. I'm going to analyze the opera on Friday night, number by number, much like I did for Handel's "Messiah". It deserves that much respect.

On Saturday night, I'm going to do Mahler's "Ressurection" Symphony. The first three movements are personalized, but the huge final movement is nothing less than a whole theology set to music. It's the End of the World and Aftermath for orchestra, soloists and chorus.
