The US Army was never in Poland during WW2. The Red Army had conquered pretty much all of Eastern Europe + half of Germany by the time the war had ended.

It was a rhetorical question. Of course I know that the United States Army never occupied Poland. While I have no love for FDR, and think he was a socialist enabler, I have the highest respect for historical truth. The truth is that FDR did not “betray” or “sell out” Poland to Stalin at Yalta, as a lot of people like to believe. It was never ours to begin with. The geographical reality was that no matter what we did, the Red Army was going to occupy Poland on the way to the defeat of Nazi Germany. That would necessarily bring all of the attendant consequences.
