Bobby Fuller was from El Paso and was one of many musicians who followed the path of Buddy Holly. This was a song by the Crickets that Fuller recorded, and it peaked at #9 this week.

Did Bobby Fuller commit suicide? Or was he murdered? No one knows, and it’s a cold case today.

In their version of I Fought the Law, from 1959, the Crickets' choice of a firearm was different from Bobby Fuller's.
