Great thread. Thanks to all posters. Detroit was in much better shape during the 1967 riots than it is today. Kwame (former mayor of Detroit) Kilpatrick, the greatest criminal in Michigan history, is now in federal prison. Governor Snyder has appointed an emergency manager for Detroit. Detroit has bottomed out. It is a long road back. I’ve waited a lifetime for this. HOORAY federal prosecutors! HOORAY Governor Snyder! Good luck mayor Dave Bing and all of the outstanding individuals and families in Detroit.
Until it crashes through that bottom and finds a whole new bottom.
I have to go with Ed McNamara, but he's smart enough to never get caught.
