I have read that one of the survivors is fighting for his life. I have read that another is fighting to keep a limb. There are others who aren’t hospitalized. Leave the ones in hospital alone. That is what I am saying. I have no clue about the others. They could be in the field. The reports are that they killed over 100 attackers that night. I don’t think parading the survivors around in public honors them. As for whether or not they were carrying out questionable orders, closed hearings are a better way to find out those answers in my opinion. I would like to know what they were doing. I would like to know a lot of things. I would like to be able to trust that we have elected representatives who are wise enough to ask the right questions and honorable enough to do the right thing by those who put their lives on the line doing things that will never be told due to the nature of clandestine operations.
Clandestine and probably illegal. Certainly foolish.
