Definitely no offense intended! I haven’t read any of his writings, although I’ve been reading back through one of JPII’s books right now. I will definitely have to seek some of B16’s books, and give them a read. I admit that I didn’t have the exposure to him that I had to JPII - and that’s my own fault, and no doubt influenced by our horrid media as well...

I thank you for sharing with me your opinion, onyx - I value it greatly.

God Bless you, as well.

And I definitely still agree...
God Bless Pope Francis I, and Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI!

Ad majorem Dei Gloriam. The intellect of a Jesuit and the compassion of a Franciscan. (A conflation of Saints Francis of Assisi and Francis Xavier) The first pope from the Americas. An Argentinian of Italian descent and a chemist by training! Splendid!!!

God bless Pope Francis I

Oh, NO offense take at all! Benedict’s trilogy on Jesus is beyond wonderful. Pope John Paul II was unmatched in his own way. He was a saint, in fact, he was beatified on 1 May 2011 under the Papacy of Pope Benedict XVI. (Most fitting on Commie Day = take that!..lol.)

We have a most blessed and wonderful Church!

JOY to ALL!
