During a brief address Saturday (March 9) in Benton County, Rep. Sue Scott, R-Rogers, discussed a plan to revive an amended version of her open-carry measure, House Bill 1408.
The amended bill, which she referred to as a baby step, would protect those with a concealed-carry permit if their firearm inadvertently becomes exposed, as when the wind blows a jacket open, in unincorporated areas, she said.
The amended version is expected to be heard Tuesday in the House Judiciary Committee, Scott said.

Small though most steps will be, that's what it is going to take.
We just got one in the group here.We have 6 30 round clips and negotiating for 10,000 rounds ( expensive) . It is a bad dude. Everyone should have one. !!
jokers at the gun show were charging $1/round for 5.56 ball yesterday. I had to laugh.
yes!! Trying to get to 57 cents— Tough. tremendous demand!!That is sooo great!!
They'll eat that ammo for that price. Supply is going up and prices are coming down. I just bought 2 stripped lower receivers yesterday off of Palmetto State Armory for $119.95 each. On Wednesday they had the whole lower parts kit with 6 position stock for $110.95.
Capitalism works!

The Dem/libs have been engaging in a steady push to infringe on our right to keep and bear arms for decades. And this is how it has been working out for them in the last two decades...
And in the last two months... (Dec. 2012 and Jan. 2013)
If the lefties keep pushing gun control in another two decades one out of two Americans may be gun owners instead of one out of three.
MOLON LAVE?
Heck! We're buying them faster than you could ever collect them. ;-)
I noticed a lot of frowny faces at the show. The panic is subsiding and people aren’t paying $1,500 for a lame a** optics ready bushmaster or $1 for a round of 5.56 mm. I remember paying $1,000 for an Uzi back in 2009. I saw two of them for sale for 3 grand a piece.
