The primary purpose for the boy scouts is not leadership, its morality. One thing about someone doing something they know to be wrong, they are great at justification.

Scout Oath (or Promise)

On my honor I will do my best To do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; To help other people at all times; To keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight.

Christian Straights are not welcome in Gay circles, and this group may have a gay old time but they will not be Boy Scouts.

The problem is they will DEMAND the use of national Boy Scout campgrounds and facilities. Bet on it.
