There is a European man theoretically cured of HIV. He had HIV, had leukemia, they picked a bone marrow donor who had 2 copies of the Delta-32 gene that makes someone immune to HIV. Man in theory is cured.

Keeping fingers crossed, but with these types of diseases, call me skeptical. Only time will tell.

The good news is they can cure AIDS. The bad news is each treatment requires an 18 wheeler be overturned with a grenade launcher. That's it. You win. LOL

Wow! I hope this is repeatable and not just a one-time thing. Which one? The flipped 18 wheeler, or the grenade?

The good news is they can cure AIDS. The bad news is each treatment requires an 18 wheeler be overturned with a grenade launcher. The good news is that the cost of the cure for AIDS will be covered by selling tickets to happily-paying rednecks.

'Doctors say infant cured of HIV at UMC' Awesome..if true. I knew a little girl who lost her Mom and Dad to AIDS because of someones promiscuity. No one ever said which parent it was...so sad.

It has been known for some time that a grenade launcher will eliminate all other medical problems.

Only, and only in Mississippi! But, no matter how crazy they report the news, it is still something newsworthy.
Dr. Hannah Gay is a pediatric physician in Jackson, MS and has been working with an infant infected with HIV at birth. Apparently the HIV is no longer detectable in the infant at present. So, great news all around. The truck, the grenade and all others are the result of the good ole boys celebrating over this story. Thats the way it plays down here.

Thanks for posting. If this treatment can be reproduced, it is incredible news.
Its a shame the thread became an embarrassment due to other posters.
To: grandpa jones
So she tracks the infant down because they find out that she hasn’t been getting her medicine. Then they find out that she doesn’t have HIV?
Probably didn’t have it in the first place, or the tests got messed up and the child didn’t have it to begin with.
They are saying the child was cured, but they didn’t do anything.
Either a miracle, or Dr. Gay isn’t a very good doctor.
