Nothing inherently unhealthy with horse meat alone, but certain veterinary drugs that are used on horses are not allowed in the human food chain for various reasons...........

What!!!!!!!!!!!! I just ate at the Bell last Saturday. I was wondering why I had this sudden hankering for oats.

One of the veterinary drugs is what we now know as ‘Rogaine’, that we use for hair re-growth.
So, if your tongue starts getting hairy...........

As long as it’s not Flicka, Trigger or Mr. Ed, it doesn’t bother me. Man’s been eating horse since the two came into close proximity.

First, I don’t blame Taco Bell.
Second, I don’t eat at Taco Bell. It has one of the worst records of people getting ill after having eaten there, for years.........

So what! As the mountain men used to say, “Meat is meat.”
Lewis and Clark found their men did better on dog meat than horse meat.

I would bet that virtually every non-vegan US citizen has unbeknownst to them, consumed horse meat in the last few years given all the corner cutting going on. Is this something to worry about? Is it really much different from cows and pigs? Jusk asking because I'm not an expert by any means. At face value it doesn't bother me one whit...

In Taco Bell’s defense, only 22% of it is horsemeat.

My Dad always joked that we made a pact with horses;
look, we won’t eat you, but we’re going to work you death.

If you were a rider or horse owner you’d know how intelligent these animals are. Pets. Friends, actually, In some way better than dogs if you have room to keep them.
Many people consider them symbols of American Freedom.
Inhumane roundups of wild horses are extremely unpopular with horse lovers. For me, it’s like throwing nets over American Eagles and throwing them on the barbie. Unconscionable.
