It appears with each passing day another member of the media is coming out to share unpleasant treatment at the hands of Barack Obama and Company.
On Thursday, in an appearance on NewsMaxTV's Steve Malzberg Show, former Newsweek senior editor Jonathan Alter said that in 2008, Robert Gibbs sent him an "abusive email" as a result of an article he wrote about Obama and disinvited him to a dinner the candidate was holding for reporters in Berlin (choppy audio follows with transcript and commentary):

Why do that? That's my question. I know he wasn't calling for permission to publish. I get that he wasn't looking to see if the Administration would like the story. Was he trying to soften the blow so they could still be buddies at the next party? I think a story should be a surprise.
Yes, I know. But it cheeses me there are so many who don't.
Just read a good IBD op/ed on the Woodward thing...
Could Woodward have a blockbuster book in the works? The 2013 version of “All the President’s Men”?
I saw the interview on CNN. He’s going peculiar. He’s made it easy for the libs to dismiss him as a doddering kook.
But...the cascade of other reporters claiming to be punished by the Chicago Obama Machine, well, that’s different. There is a dam collapsing before our eyes. I hope you have popcorn at the ready, because this is going to be fun to watch. I take extra butter, the real kind.
Sure, that's possible and I've seen others mention it. Maybe I'm a 'Pollyanna' but why would he want to anger a President and administration that he supposedly likes? There are other ways to attract attention for a book. He's really getting pelted by the dems now.
I'll check out your link SS, thanks.
That's the good part, and I hope it continues. At least it has opened a door - give him credit for that, lol. Sure is going to aggravate Madcow and Matthews, - that will be worth watching.
You gotta buy your own popcorn cause I'm gonna eat the whole bucket, hehe.
Watching Hannity now, Woodward is sticking to his story. As usual, Hannity can’t shut up and let Woodward go in to more detail.
Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned and all that.
And remember when 0mozlem first was in the WH and went down to the press quarters? And manhandled some reporter guy who asked 0 a question he didn’t like? 0mozlem was very angry and aggressive with the guy.
Was hoping Woodward wouldn’t ‘softball’ it so much. He proved Obama lied, but he refused to call it a lie, lol. Gadzooks!!
A FIB is just a FIB and a LIB remains a LIB, of that you can’t deny.......lol
I am simply dumbfounded watching Woodward give interviews and still try to fawn all over Obama. It's mind boggling to me that these people really have no idea what and who they are dealing with.
HA! That's funny, but true!
I think the thing about Woodward is that he still wants access to the White House and Obama but he has to stand by his story because he knows it's true. He's a DC player, a limousine liberal. He doesn't want to give that up by going all Rambo on Obama.
Did you read or see “All The President’s Men?” Woodward is the unconvinced Editor.
I agree with what you said. In fact, it’s how life often works. Like it or not, you often have to ‘go along to get along’ in your job, your group of friends or even your family.
Now that WE are in more dire, dangerous times, we can’t just keep doing that anymore.
I bet if you saw the video you’d remember; I rarely watch videos but it was freaking ominous. The hatred and anger and 100% lack of morality or decency were utterly revealed.
I’d love to see that video, if you come across it again, please give me a ping.
Ps; Hope you are feeling better!!
