In an epic interview for the ages, a Democratic congressman unloaded on Fox News anchor Sean Hannity Tuesday night with a non-stop verbal assault on the popular host.
Hannity opened up a segment on President Obama’s tactics regarding budget issues by saying, “Our alarmist in chief, President Panic himself, he did not feel the need to be at the White House today, nor did he think it was important enough to visit Capitol Hill and try to hammer out a bipartisan solution to the mess that he himself has put the country in.”
He showed a montage of recent Obama remarks with a soundtrack of ominous music behind it.
Hannity then introduced U.S. Rep. Keith Ellison, D-Minn., the first Muslim ever elected to Congress, who took little time to insult the program’s host.
“Quite frankly, you are the worst excuse for a journalist I’ve ever seen,” Ellison told Hannity at the outset.
“What you just displayed was not journalism. It was yellow journalism. It wasn’t anything close to try to tell the American people what’s really going on. It’s just shocking to me.”
“Yellow journalism?” responded Hannity. “To play Obama in his own words is yellow journalism?”
Ellison tried to label Hannity as a champion for Republican causes, saying, “You are a shill for the Republican Party and you alibi them constantly. You alibi them 100 percent of the time.”
“I am not a registered Republican. I’m a registered conservative,” Hannity explained.
At one point that became somewhat comedic, Ellison told Hannity, “You said I could rant, and I am.”

This segment was horrible last night. I am surprised Hannity didn’t just cut off the mic or completely shut-down the interview. I would have, but Hannity didn’t and I think it showed Ellison as the useful idiot he is...

Just watch one segment of the Ted Knight show. As long as the Knight Factor is around, Hannity can only be second. A poor second.

Democrats simply yell over anything anyone says. Ellison did not allow Hannity to even ask a question. Ellison is an asshole. Period.
obama's fellow-muslim is so used to the behavior of "journalists" of his leftist ideology acting as they do in the MSM he has come to believe -- like so many of his fellow American leftists and third-world brethren of the religion of terror -- that expressing strong opinion makes for good "journalism".
Ellison represents the Minnesota 5th District (Mpls) which has historically been kook leftist.
Ventura won in a three way race where the Democrat was certifiably nuts and the Republican had been a Donk until a few months earlier. Ventura sounded conservative on the campaign but went biserk and threatened to kill a Star-Tribune reporter.
Franken won by ballot box stuffing. They kept counting the ballots found in curious locations (the trunk of a car comes to mind) until Franken won.
I disagree. Letting this fool rant on the Fox network, the biggest audience this deluded idiot has probably ever had only emboldened him and his low-information constituents.
Minnesota certainly elects some bizarre characters...Ellison, Franken, Ventura.
Hannity spent about five minutes too long on this juvinile delinquent.
How about later on when he had Tamara Holder on with Bernard McGurk (?) carrying on about Mayor Bloomburg with Holder ranting about how “all Republicans are fat (and “Southern”)?
It’s episodes like this that cause me to just switch the dial. I turned Hannity off on Sirius Radio during the Ellison rant, and I switched him off the TV during the Holder diatribe.
