Though I have done both, I believe that pot has a much more mind altering effect than alcohol...possibly due to its oil soluble nature and enduring effects.

That said, alcohol is not particularly innocent.

Bottom line, I have seen pot and alcohol damage the careers, fortunes, and futures of many, but in different ways.

BTW, if you smoke a joint at night, you still be slightly mentally impaired the next day. Your memory won't be quite as good as usual and your motivation will be reduced. Coffee might help but you are still impaired.

A couple of beers will have basically no effect.

It's not the drug but the dose ... you can get a mild buzz from either drug, or at higher doses you can get wrecked from either drug.

Again, it's not the drug but the dose - drink enough and you'll still be impaired the next morning.

So back to the question: Is smoking pot more wrong than drinking alcohol?
