This may sound mean but I do think it is time to hold all office holders for the past 10 years or so, liable for the mess the country is in. At least on a federal level but I see some cities and states that could use this too.
I think that people who have lined their pockets or have voted to remove monies from the voters pockets should stand trial and have to pay back what they stole. In other words put them into bankruptcy.
