No sooner did President Barack Obama and a group of senators separately outline proposals to revamp the nation’s immigration system than the phone lines on several African-American-oriented talk radio shows heated up with callers blasting the plans.
“Amnesty,” complained Frankie from Maryland recently on the nationally syndicated “Keeping it Real with Al Sharpton.”
A political payback to Hispanic voters that does little or nothing for African-Americans, reasoned Sam from Milwaukee on Wisconsin’s 1290 WMCS AM’s “Earl Ingram Show.”

Still, Ingram says many of his listeners see Obama’s attempt to push forward on immigration as a reminder of what the president hasn’t done to improve economic conditions for African-Americans.
“I would say a bulk of my listenership is anti-immigration,” he said.

The African-American unemployment rate is at 13.8 percent, according to recently released government figures, nearly twice the 7 percent jobless rate for whites. The nation’s overall unemployment rate is 7.9 percent. For Hispanics, the rate is 9.7 percent.
A 2009 study by George Borjas of Harvard University, Jeffrey Grogger of the University of Chicago and George Hanson of the University of California, San Diego, looked at 1960-2000 Census data and found that as immigrants disproportionately increased the supply of workers in a particular area, wages of African-American workers in that area fell, the employment rate declined and the incarceration rate rose.
“Our analysis suggests that a 10 percent immigration-induced increase in the supply of a particular skill group reduced the black wage by 2.5 percent, lowered the employment rate of black men by 5.9 percentage points, and increased the incarceration rate of blacks by 1.3 percentage points,” the professors wrote in the study.

When the reporter said, “African-American,” I hope that he was referring to people who were born in Africa. About 2/3 of Blacks, I know, hate being called African-Americans. They know that, since a dictionary defintion of “African” is “a resident of Africa,” an African-American must be anyone who was born in Africa, immigrated to the U.S., and became an American citizen. 3% of South Africans have ancestors who came from India. If one of them becomes a U.S. citizen, he or she would be an African-American.
In spite of what the ruling class says, Americans in general, are not for amnesty and want the borders closed.
Democrats are just looking for the fastest way to grow their base. they already have the the Black vote, but with abortion it’s just not growing fast enough, so they can afford to dump on them and pander to the Hispanics. After all Biden has as much as said that “ Latinos are the center of the nations future”. I guess the democrats are telling Blacks they are yesterdays news!

Take a look at Compton, CA. Compton is next to Watts. Black people are being told to get out by the Klan with a tan. There is a lot of friction between the Mexicans and the blacks in the LA area. They really don’t like each other.

It only took 130 years, but in 1996 BJ Clinton solved the unaddressed problem of the Civil War contraband: his Welfare Reform slashed their birthrate (by ending cash for kids) so they could be replaced by a better “Hispanic” underclass. It worked like a charm, with Hispanics passing blacks 10 years earlier than forecast (2000 instead of 2010). Now blacks can sit on their urban reservations and watch the world pass them by, as the administration of those reservations switches over to Hispanic hands.

In northern NJ the black neighborhoods, while shrinking, are being encircled by Hispanic buffer zones. As Hispanics overtake them politically, economically, and demographically, blacks are fading into obscurity.
Barak Obama was the first black liberal president, and he will be the last. Any further black presidents will be Republican or another party.

The black abortion rate is very much an intended consequence of Dem policies; when they weren’t getting enough abortions BJ Clinton ended cash-for-kids (which was followed by an immediate drop in the black birthrate).

Elections have consequences
Blacks believe this whole get-even-with-em-ism that the Left preaches and they are thinking it’s supposed to be *their turn* to get all the spoils. It upsets them to see the Hispanics get theirs and the gays get theirs but the blacks have largely got nothing. In fact, their incomes have taken a major hit while Obama was in off.
I’d love to see a black person with a t-shirt or a bumper sticker that says “I voted for this chump twice and all I got was this crappy phone.”
Obama dropped a good 4 million votes from his 2008 total ~ so who were they? There are no indications that they were Hispanic, nor white, nor whatever ~ so who just didn't show up?
Counting the normal growth of the Democrat voting strength over 4 years, we may even be missing 6 million voters ~ if they were African-Americans, we are looking at Stage I of a movement of a segment of a major Democrat coalition partner to somewhere else ~

Watts? My (deceased) grandparents' house is in Watts. My old aunt and uncle still live there, and are practically the last black folks still living on their block. It's mostly Hispanic now.

I graduated from Compton High in the early 70s. I remember one day some of us kids in the drama class were rummaging around in a back room in the auditorium, trying to find stuff to make stage costumes.
We ran across an old Compton High yearbook from the fifties, and opened it up to have a look. Every face in there was white. Being kids, it came as quite a reality adjustment to us.

other day in win dixie here I was checking out and asked the young girl if half the people had food stamps etc, she said over half.
The bagger told me they should because people have babies and can;t afford their food.
I said right away maybe they should not have babies and she looked stunned, turns out this woman had a few kids all on welfare and many are having kids because they want their welfare and handouts, not her exact words mind you.
It;s sick how they bang out more kids today knowing we’ll pay for them and they can get over 200 pound at just over 5 foot and then buy their crap food with their welfare.
She even told me how to get welfare which I told her I did not want it and I want my kids to grow up with a work ethic etc.
She then tld me how in her community they apply for school, get a few thousand and only go to one class and then keep the money

I;ve spoken to many blacks at the boxing gym and there is truly a big differenceof views on how and what America is, not all blacks but many, though especially the women.
The women, wow, they really go off at the deep end and one blakc guy said to me “now you know why many of us prefer white women”
There is hardly a thin black woman around here, all seem mouthy and yet not very knowledgeable, I’ve found talking to the men is better but they too try and stay away from those kind of women.
The disconnect is massive and the GOP needs to go to their churches and mention social issues, how the party of the Dems put them into slavery segregation etc.

I will never forget going to a black college which in itself is racist and we wnet for a boxing fight , my son was fighting and the racism towards myson and my wife was the most disgusting acts of racism I have ever heard, it was out there in the public, being shouted and laughed at
Democrats aren’t going to waste any political capital on a voting block that gives them 90+% of their vote. The Dems could lose 15% of that in any given election and it wouldn’t be worth a dime to try and stop it.

Crime is plunging in Compton. From 1999 to 2011, murders went down 68% in Compton, but only 30% in LA, and Compton had a bigger % increase in population.
