I didn’t read the article but since you posted it, chessplayer, I’m sure it’s another very good one. From what I recall back when this happened, Obama was on his way or at least preparing to go raising money for the campaign - I think Las Vegas.

President Mugabe unchained was very busy campaigning. Americans being killed in real time in Benghazi was way down his list of things to take care of. Being white boy Special Forces, them getting killed was icing on the cake

Somebody didn’t do their job....somebody didn’t do their job....somebody didn’t do their job.....somebody didn’t do their job....somebody didn’t do their job..........OR........Panetta would rather give testimony that somebody didn’t do their job to remove them from responsibility of the job they did.

Wherever it was, it must be really bad. All I know is when they get BO under oath, they need proof when he lies under oath and it better be solid. This may get him in the end. It will take some time to play out, but may be his undoing. Can’t imagine what the press would have done to W and Cheney if they weren’t hands on all night while this went on. W probably would have been impeached for dereliction of duty. Where was BO?
I suspect Obama was otherwise engaged with one of his gay lovers, and couldn’t be bothered.
Onyx, I don’t believe Panetta regarding Obamas absence. This is a lie and a means of removing Obama from the events that night in Benghazi. I suspect there is a movement to get senate testimony from Obama, and Panetta’ s testimony could be enough so that Obama can refuse, as he “wasn’t involved and can’t offer anymore than what has already been said.” Whatever the truth is, something is about to break and it will be so damning that they would rather have Obama appear to be derelict in his duties, than involved in the event. There is NO WAY Obama was “gone” for six hours during this attack.
