If we do not hang together, surely we will hang separately.
CT wants to pass the Barney Fife Law?
ONE Rd?
Do we register that one rd with the Sheriff?
Cool smokingfrog, I never saw that one before.
Thank you.

excerpt:
Those who would disarm America seem oblivious to the buzz saw into which they are mindlessly running. Their naivete is monumental, off the scale. When describing weapons they want banned, their description of such weapons makes it clear they havent the foggiest notion what they are talking about. It is also clear they are operating from pure emotion with no reason mixed in. They often describe weapons they want banned. They dont seem to know that those weapons have already been banned since the 1930s in America. They use the term assault weapon when there is actually no such weapon, only a political term to describe a weapon that is, well, scary looking.
In their ignorance, they cannot grasp that even if a gun ban were successful, a black market in guns and ammunition will spring up, almost overnight, and will make Prohibition resemble a Sunday school picnic. Gun owners and those familiar with guns know, already, that guns are fairly simple to make, many with off the shelf, readily available, parts.
The very first firefight between government agents and American private citizens will be the ignition point of an all consuming maelstrom that will inundate the nation and render null and void any chance that America might reconstitute itself into its former image afterwards.
To the folks on the left, the gun grabbers, if there is any doubt in your minds that Americans will defend their constitutional rights to the death, simply drive across the Lincoln Bridge and take a long look at row after row of white grave markers at Arlington National Cemetery. As you gaze upon that place of honor, remember, we are the sons, grandsons, and great-grand sons of the men lying there. We are no less inspired than they to defend the constitution against all enemiesdomestic and foreign.
For those of you who purportedly serve the public in your position within the Congress, understand that we are taking careful note of your maneuvering to deny us our constitutional rights and we will be working tirelessly to see that your political career is ended when next you stand for election. That is a promise.
The idiots in the Mainstream Media still do not understand that freedom of the press , freedom of speech, is only viable so long as the right to keep and bear arms is guaranteed by the Second Amendment. The job of the press is inextricably linked to the armed citizen. If the armed American goes, so does the independent, non-state-controlled press. Freedom of the press, freedom of speech, will disappear.
It is such a simple thingwhen thought through. But thats the problem. They arent thinking. They are reacting out of raw emotioncertainly NOT reason. It is their handlers, however, who ARE reasoning. They reason, and rightfully so, that they cannot accomplish their agenda as long as the American citizen is armed. And so the useful idiots of the Mainstream Media are trotted out to happily make fools of themselves in service to the political left, which will grind them into so much dust once their goals are realized.
PhotoBucket PB) problem:
I started PB Acct, last Sept, at Clint’s sage advice, and it’s worked almost fine until last night, when I had to run down the road, as a drunk’s p/u truck drove thru a neighbor’s Farm House. Cop & EMTs were there in minutes. I got all 4 foks, plus 2 cats & 3 dogs, out of the spreading kitchen gas fire, which was quickly outed by firetrucks, EMTs & LEOs.
Slightly burned and sooty, I go back hom, showered/fresh clothes, and all PB pics are gone; decriptors are there for 87 pics, but empty library.
I contacted ‘Help’ but haven’t heard back.
Anyone else also have the glitch were you try to edit/delete etc, and the entire screen goes gray/freezes.
Should I delete the account and start over w/ new name and upload new pics? I can delete all cookies and traces on my browsers, Opera & FF.
Anyone else having this problem with their new PB ‘beta’ site?
Any thought/help would be appreciated. I’ll shovel your next snowfall if you’re with 50 miles... Heh.
We had best ban meat cleavers.
Why would anyone need a meat cleaver? A 1.5” pen knife will do.
Swords should be banned out right!!!
They have no place in the kitchen or civil society!!!
Toro lawn mowers and Snapper 22” “self propelled” should also be banned.
Who needs all that power?
John Deere Tractors with “PTO” and “Brush Hog” attachments should be limited to use by Military and Local Gov workers.
Shut up and sit down citizen! WE know best.
After all, WE are highly trained professionals and you are but wogs.
Hooboy, I have no idea CH.
Skype mucked up my “confuser” good today and I have no idea what happened.
I would just re upload them.
What’s the lady’s name on Tom’s show? I missed it...stepped out for a smoke.
Here’s another one I once saw inscribed on a 1911.
“Be not afraid of any many, no matter what his size. When danger threatens call on me and I will equalize”
I though my skype problem was that I was not using the latest version. (I had not used it in like 9 months)
My computer just kept shutting off when I was using skype.
Anywho, I loaded the latest patch and it barfed again.
The confuser works fine when I am not on skype.
Go figure.... *shrug*
Thanks for the article, for those that missed the audio.
You know something frog?
I was just discussing today that adults, parents and teachers all shelter children from life and in doing so harm the children.
They stymie critical thinking.
Then they are stunned when they see the children defenseless.
YOU TAUGHT THEM TO BE DEFENSELESS!!
I believe the shortages are also due to stockpiling. Like thermal runaway on a lithium battery, hard to stop once it gets started...
It’s pretty stunning.
I have never seen anything like it.
It is hard to believe a big place like Gander Mountain and the like are routinely sold out of 22 LR.
I go a couple times a week to place like Carter Country that are trying to hold price down on 9 mm by limiting it to one box per customer.
I don’t have skype, nor do I know what it is. The graying-out of the page has been going on for months, so I can delete, edit organize etc. Just upload from my PC and send links to FR and other places.
I’ll try to pursue it thru PB’s help section. Damn.
My local fellow is also doing the one per customer thing to stop hoarders. 1 case, 1, 100 rd box etc.
Some of these ***holes will come in and buy every case of ammo, then take it to the Tulsa gin show and jack the price up.
It screws my local guys customers over and screws everyone over by re establishing a new wild price point.
Damned “Confusers”!!
I really do not get the 22lr shortage.
What’s next? a run on .177 BB’s?
Small pebbles?
Pointy sticks?
I don’t think I’d delete the account. Most likely your photos are still there on their server.
Have you tried just doing some routine maintenance? By that I mean running Advanced System Care, run an antivirus scan, clearing cookies, rebooting, etc.?
Actually, the .22LR shortage makes sense to me.
When you think about, almost everyone has at least one .22 around.
I guess it;s a Texas thang LOL
No one NEEDS that much LEAD!!
What the hell did this caller shoot that WWI .223 in?
LOL
I’ll tell ya what’s up with that. They’re shipping it to Syria with the guns they were runnin’.
Good for Tom for bringing up the notion of being careful banning gun ownership from the “Mentally disabled”
It sounds reasonable but it is a slippery slope.
Who makes the call?
We see people trying to ban guns from any vets diagnosed with PTSD.
PTSD is is a natural reaction to stress.
It can come in many forms and levels of severity.
Losing a loved one can result in depression, that is normal.
Do we strip people of their 2nd amendment rights because they were hurt?
Ideally we could trust a healthcare professional to make a reasonable judgment, but many of them are gun grabbers too.
Again.
Who makes that call?
Perhaps.
All I know is it is one set of rules for them and another for us, and that stinks.
Remember the hysteria over Lanza having Asbergers syndrome?
Asbergers syndrome does not manifest itself in psychosis.
Aight Gang.
Time to sign off.
Thanks to all who stopped by.
Have a great week!
Exactly. My step-dad was givin’ me grief about taking my 11-year-old son to the range. He asked me, “When would an 11-year-old boy ever need to know how to shoot a Glock 19?”
Being the smart @ss I am, I started with the Zombie apocalypse and moved on to alien invaders. How do you answer such an uninformed question?
I teach my kids to respect the weapons in my house. It’s not what they’re prepared for that I worry about - it’s what I can’t foresee.
I taught my boy at about 12.
When I was a kid I was raised to be scared of a piece of metal.
It was illogical.
Then at 21 I was taught that it is just a tool.
You control it, but you must respect it too.
You ever see a kid poke his eye out with a screwdriver?
Kids are pretty smart if we don’t teach them to be stupid. LOL
I wasn’t allowed to ride motorcycles as a kid either LOL
Then you turn 16 and they let you run around in a 5000 lb car. LOL
BTW
God Bless you for allowing your child to grow responsibly rather than trying to keep him a baby into adulthood.
I think a lot of adults in thew world today never got to stretch their wings as kids and were taught to be baby’s.
Many of them are now 60 year old teachers and hand wringing professors that vote D.
A fine example.
A fine example.
“NO! You will not pass!”
Thank God we live in Tx where the father wasn’t prosecuted for leaving the kids home alone LOL
Parents today are all the time doting over their kids into adulthood.
doing the wash and the cooking, no chores, buying then xbox, running them here and there for social events.
Then those parents are stunned that the kid is 35 and doesn’t know how to do his wash or make a grilled cheeses sandwich.
Anyhow, that is my 2 cents.
My Depression-Era grandparents raised me to take care of and depend on myself. It’s one of the most important lessons I will pass on to my kids. They get sick of receiving pop quizes all the time about how to respond in various situations, but one day they’ll thank me.
Egg-zackt-lee.
Also, I think it is insane that our boys are frobidden by liberal asswipes from playing “cowboys and indians”
“it’s violence and we have a zero tolerance policy”
Hey perfesser, It is not “violence” it is a role playing game that helps our children develop concepts of social justice.
‘Well, we caught Black Bart, now how do we mete out justice?’
Dad taught me to shoot as a young boy, and I had a Savage .22/.410 over-and-under and a .30-30 in my closet. I left them alone, precisely because I knew what they could do - I had developed a healthy fear of them.
The mystique was gone, and I was better for it.
You are a good Mom.
Did I say grilled “cheeses” sandwich?
Because that is an advanced course in feeding yourself. LOL
Multiple cheeses?!! OMG how will I ever figure this out? /s
Multiple cheeses is best suited to children 17 and up LOL
