Now, they (the FED, the Weather Channel, NOAA?) have started naming winter storms.
‘Nemo’ is the name of the one that just hit the Northeast.

I heard some close thunder early this morning (around 3 a.m.). I turned on the TV to see if there were any warnings and got nothing. How big to they have to be to get a name? Some of that thunder was pretty loud — loud enough to wake me up.
I had no idea about the naming of winter storms! Thank you for that PC information. I have a Weather Radio, for such notices, because during foul weather, we often lose power, down here in the South, where our weather can change on a dime.
