“At the risk of getting in trouble with the mods, FU.
I, my Father, Stepfather, eldest Brother, Sister, Brother in Law and MANY great friends and Shipmates served honorably in the Unites States Navy. You can find plenty of shitbirds in every branch.”
At ease, Swabbie. Just couldn’t resist takin’ a jab at some Anchor Clankers.
Add washed out pilot trainee to his résumé.
Could he be considered a terrorist?
Will Obama add him to his kill list (without a court order) in a secret meeting?
If so, will Brennan unleash his drones after him?
Roger that. Thought you were serious.
I’ve known a lot of honorable Marines as well.
A rookie probationary officer should know he is asking for trouble if he squeals on a senior officer. He reported the female training officer for roughing up a handcuffed suspect. He lost the trust of almost every officer in that department when he did that.
That is a very generous guess. Makes sense, I hope that is the reason, and not part of the continuing slander of the military by the Obama Regime.
Oh, left off the list was my Mother in Law, who was a Marine during the Korean war.
I’ll bet he was an affirmative action baby from the git go...
It’s a grab-bag of port defenses, as far as I knew it. Some are officers who could not win the SWO pin, etc.
The Left’s New Hero.
Reminds one of Mark Essex...all of this.
as if you will ever hear if it’s the truth. According to the father of the kid that he reported was beaten you would hear he got railroaded because the LAPD screwed him in order to show how good the LAPD was and is.. but is that the truth? I don’t know.. I know one thing.. we will never know for sure.
apparently you don’t know anyone that reads the news.
How many seconds until we get the MSM with the op ed pieces starting with “oh, yeah, we condemn the violence...but we really have to deal with the bigger issue of racism within the police force”.
Of course, we’ll never deal with the racism of the SHOOTER, Lord no, but of those evil crackers that drove him to this.
Uncalled for. Absolutely uncalled for.
Having family who were Naval Officers during WWII ... two of whom were SUNK by U-Boats supporting the Invasion of Italy ... you are the lowest of the low for the insinuation.
There are twits in every branch ... call the individuals out, not the service itself.
Here are a couple of women who aren't thrilled with LAPD detectives right now: http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/lanow/2013/02/ex-cop-manhunt-newspaper-delivery-women-shot.html
How much do you want to bet this incident has previous parallels in his Navy record? And yet Navy recycled him, LAPD did not.
Exactly. Thank you.
They released it to show what great guy he was. Now he's been corrupted by (fill in the blank as long as it's a white guy) and has gone nuts.
Intel Officer (not line). I may be wrong, but I think the Unit he described is for port security. Their personnel are made up of fleet ratings, including divers and EOD. They (or their predecessor) were utilized to ensure Um Qasr and Al Zabair ports were clear of mines and obstructions following up behind the 2003 Iraq invasion forces.
No, I don’t see a pattern.
Millions of men and women, myself included, have served in the U.S.Navy.
Asides from pinching Howie66’s nose and tweeking his ears, I am not weird! (Just kidding!)
Three of the people you mentioned - John Kerry, John McCain, Jesse Ventura - served during the Vietnam War period, JFK during WWII. People who experience war tend to be either non-communicative about their wartime experiences, or internalize the experiences in ways other perceive as bizarre.
Try the Sig 226 and you’ll shoot expert every time.
“See a pattern here?”
Scru you Howey for your broad brush, what is your claim to fame? (Not that I support any of your subjects you a-hole!)
Its Obamas fault.
Gee I wonder what would happen if this guy went rabid and thought it really was Obamas fault?
Just imagining another situation of a secret service agent who was dissed and then went rabid....
GMTA---my first thought.
When the powers that be WANT the information out there, it gets out there, doesn't it.
DANG, I never realized that jfingkerry served in Viet Nam!! /s LOL
DANG, I never realized that jfingkerry served in Viet Nam!! /s LOL
“Loss Date”, as I recall, is the separation-from-service date.
I assumed the opposite. You are more charitable than me ;)
“just to spite someone who wronged him ...”
I see your point. How can a n00bie jackboot gunthug be considered trustworthy if he gets squeamish about beating up an arrested, restrained & defenseless peasant?
"If it's true that "assault weapons" are "weapons of war" and don't belong on the streets of America, why do the police need them? Who are the police at war with?"
The United States Navy WAS an honerable service BEFORE Goerge HW Bush Swived it up right after Tailhook ‘91. I DESPISE ALL OF THE BUSHES for WHAT they did to MY NAVY(and MY Military)!
O and just WHAT is on YOUR DD-214?
My DD-214 came from the Men’s Department of the Department of the Navy, my friend.
My post was tongue in cheek, but I suppose that you missed that part.
I hate what Obama is doing to our military, 100%. It’s sad that they have to suffer another 4 years of this turd. Sad. And disgusting.
The US Marines already have thier “Few Good Men” “United States Navy Chaplains, Doctors, Dentists, Hospital Corpsman, Religeous Programmers and Dental Techs”.
We get tons of pussy.
Hey, I couldn’t agree more.
I just loved the 2 Navy dentists that extracted 2 wisdom teeth from my mouth just prior to my going on a 20 mile force march when I was in ITR back in the day. They really tried to relax me with their peels of laughter throughout the procedure....
Good one! lol
That what does not KILL us makes us STRONGER!
Hey, look at the upside - at least the Devil Dogs can now take their boyfriends to the Marine Corps Ball. You guys don't have to hide your lust for the sausage anymore. Oooo RAH, gunny!
My grand paw was a horse Marine
He loved to wear the red and green
Now I'm one of Bammy's Queens
Whackin' one to Charlie Sheen
“In the Navy....”
Interservice rivalries are fun. But I love my Marine Corps brothers just the same.
I’m serious. She was a Marine, of course Stateside, during the Korean War. She was awesome. Needless to say, she took no crap from anyone!
I agree! I have relatives and friends that served in all branches, but the stuff between Marines and our Navy brothers and sisters is the most fun of all.
The Army and Air Force simply do not understand our relationship.
We called our Women Marines “BAMs”. Broad Ass Marines.
Some of them were the baddest asses around!
They were and remain awesome!
