Before you spout about "Navy Pukes" read this. I doubt you will find very many braver acts than what these men did off Samar

Battle off Samar

as if you will ever hear if it’s the truth. According to the father of the kid that he reported was beaten you would hear he got railroaded because the LAPD screwed him in order to show how good the LAPD was and is.. but is that the truth? I don’t know.. I know one thing.. we will never know for sure.

How many seconds until we get the MSM with the op ed pieces starting with “oh, yeah, we condemn the violence...but we really have to deal with the bigger issue of racism within the police force”.

Of course, we’ll never deal with the racism of the SHOOTER, Lord no, but of those evil crackers that drove him to this.

What the hell is it with the Navy pukes??

Uncalled for. Absolutely uncalled for.

Having family who were Naval Officers during WWII ... two of whom were SUNK by U-Boats supporting the Invasion of Italy ... you are the lowest of the low for the insinuation.

There are twits in every branch ... call the individuals out, not the service itself.

"Funny, I don’t know anyone in LA who dislikes the LAPD. And I was born here 64 years ago."

Here are a couple of women who aren't thrilled with LAPD detectives right now: http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/lanow/2013/02/ex-cop-manhunt-newspaper-delivery-women-shot.html

"rookie probationary officer should know he is asking for trouble if he squeals on a senior officer. He reported the female training officer for roughing up a handcuffed suspect. He lost the trust of almost every officer in that department when he did that."

How much do you want to bet this incident has previous parallels in his Navy record? And yet Navy recycled him, LAPD did not.

Why did they release this? Is this common in other cases where vets are accused of crimes?

They released it to show what great guy he was. Now he's been corrupted by (fill in the blank as long as it's a white guy) and has gone nuts.

Intel Officer (not line). I may be wrong, but I think the Unit he described is for port security. Their personnel are made up of fleet ratings, including divers and EOD. They (or their predecessor) were utilized to ensure Um Qasr and Al Zabair ports were clear of mines and obstructions following up behind the 2003 Iraq invasion forces.

No, I don’t see a pattern.

Millions of men and women, myself included, have served in the U.S.Navy.

Asides from pinching Howie66’s nose and tweeking his ears, I am not weird! (Just kidding!)

Three of the people you mentioned - John Kerry, John McCain, Jesse Ventura - served during the Vietnam War period, JFK during WWII. People who experience war tend to be either non-communicative about their wartime experiences, or internalize the experiences in ways other perceive as bizarre.

Its Obamas fault.

Gee I wonder what would happen if this guy went rabid and thought it really was Obamas fault?

Just imagining another situation of a secret service agent who was dissed and then went rabid....
