I'm still having trouble understanding why the murdering Islamist Hassan has not been tried and executed for the Ft. Hood massacre. In a just world, he would have been tried, convicted, and sentenced within a month. Is there any possible doubt about his culpability? What happened to swift military justice? Oh right, lawyers.
“I figure they have given up their right to “due process” as an out-country combatant working for another regime or agency.”
And you would be correct.
A person who is an America citizen, working for a terrorist organization such as AQ or an AQ affilliate, deserves to be killed.
Just like a citizen who left for Germany during WWII to fight for the Nazi regime, should be killed in battle, not put in the court system.
This “conservative” reflex against this policy is just anti Obama numbness. This policy should be supported, just as the Drone strikes into Pakistan should be supported.
