I have been a NRA member for several years, upgraded to Life Member last year and to Endowment member this year.
I edited my profile and I receive NO notifications or solicitations except those that I chose.
The upgrades in membership were done strictly by my choice without any coercion from the NRA.
I have also joined other 2nd amendment groups as well and my phone is not ringing and no SPAM.
This the time to stick together and make our voices heard. The only reason Obama’s paying attention is because we have been resisting enthusiastically.
The universal background check push is the most dangerous: if they get it, they will have gotten de facto control of all firearms transactions - then they’ll tighten things further until there’s nothing left at all.
