Boo hoo. go home and get in line. I know a guy from England who fixes race cars and has been trying to come to the U.S. for years. He has to prove he can do a job or provide a service that no American can before he can be considered. He is still stuck in England. He owns his own business there and would be great for the U.S. But no, we only want the ones that come here and suck up welfare.
I honestly believe that Europeans are being discriminated against by the immigration bureacrats. I have heard many stories such as yours and yet I see whole extended families of immigrants from non-European countries. If it takes many years for one person to immigrate, how can they have several adult siblings along with inlaws, nieces and nephews all living in this country? I saw a picture in the local newspaper which showed a family that gave birth to the first child to be born in 2013. In the photo there were about six or seven people including the husband of the new mother an older daughter, her sister and brother-in-law and niece. It used to take years to bring a brother or sister into the country but this family from Africa had their whole extended family reunited within apparently a very short time.
