When I was a kid in the Bay Area we used to go to the home games at Kezar and sell programs or do other pre game chores to get admission to the games.

Leo (the Lion) Nomellini was a pro wrestler when not playing ball and he had the reputation of being an animal on and off the field. But, Bob St Clair was the one who everyone said ate raw meat. In those days the players just parked outside and walked into the stadium. We'd wait for them and get to say hi, get an autograph or maybe even a picture with our brownie hawk eye camera. Bob St. Clair was huge ... HUGE. I think he was probably 6'6" or more. But, to a kid in high school he looked like a building.

Anyway, is that the guy?

My grandfather (he goes back to Kezar and Seal Stadium)told me the story when I was a kid; yes Bob St. Clair.

about five years ago, my wife worked with his daughter and she confirmed the story. She said he did it at home as well and that it was "totally gross".

I worked with St Clair’s son for a few years... Great guy! Been to St Clairs peninsula home and met his ex wife. Never met Bob though.
