Thandiwe testified he purchased a gun “to enforce beliefs he’d developed about white people during his years as an anthropology major at the University of West Georgia.”
“I was trying to prove a point that Europeans had colonized the world, as a result, we see a lot of evil today,” he said. “In terms of slavery, it was something that needed to be answered for. I was trying to spread the message of making white people mend.”
The night before at a “Peace Party,” he was enraged that two white people were there.
“I was upset,” he said. “I was still upset Friday. I took the gun to work because I was still upset from Thursday night.”
Thandiwe said during his last few years in college, his history studies changed his thoughts about how some white people treated black people.
“In terms of slavery and race, it was something that needed to be answered for. I saw it as something that the black community hasn’t recovered from so my initial way to handle that was to spread information to help combat some of the ignorance that was in the black community about our history,”.
“Correct me if I’m wrong, but you were trying to spread the message of making white people the enemy,” asked District Attorney Linda Dunikoski.
“Yes,” replied Thandiwe.
His second episode of racial violence in less than a month, he assailed a visiting courier with racial epithets and had to be physically restrained from striking and causing harm to visitors at a parking garage where he worked.
Racial resentment is the new mother’s milk of education, said a prison psychologist who did not wish to be identified. Students, black and white, learn from their earliest days that blacks are victims and powerless to fight racism, he said.

I am 70, as a child I remember blacks as respectful people that we never had a problem with. We respected them, they respected us. They had their own recreation we had ours ,they had their own schools we had ours. I don’t remember much hate. Maybe they were hiding it,I don’t know, but the two peoples sure got along good together. We could and did go to their neighborhoods with no problems.
Then the schools integrated, the amusement parks integrated we had race riots at the amusement parks, we had problems at the schools, and it went downhill from there.

Had to go through the “city” section of Baltimore the other day.
It was shocking — the worst ghetto I’ve ever seen, in my life. I feared for my life as I drove through these streets.
One thing that stuck out most — the massive amounts of garbage just strewn everywhere in their neighborhoods. All over the sidewalks — all throughout the park areas. It was everywhere. Horrible. Why don’t they even bother to pick up their own trash?? It’s pitiful.
And so it struck me — these people need to “pick up the trash” from their yards AND from their own lives first ...no one will EVER be able to help those who cannot or will not even bother to help themselves. They are given EVERYTHING for free ...yet they literally just trash it. Are we also to go in and pick up their trash FOR them??
I have NO pity on this segment of blacks in our society. They are hopeless, as long as they refuse to help themselves.

When I was teaching in Brooklyn, NY in the 1980’s-1990’s (the days of Dinkins—another race hustler) I remember time and time again my students (who were all black) wanting to get into discussions about race. There would be a bit of tension as they could get themselves pretty worked up (some of them) about slights (perceived or real) that they themselves had suffered. They would look at me, some with glaring eyes, some with searching eyes...but all riveted on me, wanting to know what to make of it all. Invariably, I would say something to the effect, “Are there racists in the world? You bet there are. Racism is a form of hatred and human beings are capable of hatred. There are white racists and black racists-people who hate other people because of their appearance/skin color. But that’s not the real issue. The real issue is this: What are you going to do about it? What are you going to do? Are you going to become what they think you are? Or are you going to be who and what you are striving to be? In the end, the choice is yours: you can either prove them wrong, or you can prove them right. Prove them wrong.” My students always went away thinking.
I grew up (first 9 years) in a predominantly Black neighborhood in Rochester NY. During the ‘50s, the Blacks were our friends and neighbors. They were the ones fixing up their houses and properties and making for a nice neighborhood. By the time the race riots of the ‘60s had come around, a number had jumped on the “Outrage Wagon” and once friends were openly hostile. BY that time, we had moved to the suburbs, but my grandparents still lived in the old neighborhood so i would visit fairly often. The neighborhood had turned around from nice and well-kept and into a slum in a matter of 8 years or so.
Sounds like the "Reality Tour" my buddy took me on in Philly some years back. People camped out at night on building steps at night like war refugess. He didn't stop for red lights.
I understand; at this point I’ve gone from indifference to antipathy in terms of the permanent minority urban underclass. I work with decent hardworking blacks; while some may harbor resentment they have to behave professionally (as do their white counterparts). When I see blacks really clutch the victim card to themselves, I know I’m dealing with a person who is so mentally defeated that they know they will never be the equal of whites (or browns, or reds, or yellows); affirmative action reinforces this belief in them every minute of their life. In their minds, they are so worthless that without the government forcing somebody to house and hire them, they would be living as nomads in the forest.
What a way to live; in the meantime, you are right to protect yourself against their violent thrashings against the very people who house, feed, and clothe them.

Living on the edge of a welfare reservation/food desert, I was never sympathetic; my family had fled Newark before I was born, so we had no misconceptions about what we were dealing with. I worked with many older Southern blacks during high school and college (hardworking, family-oriented, no chip-on-the-shoulder), and felt they were easily the equals of whites (their children, raised in the North, didn’t fare so well).
As Americans know less and less about all school subjects, we’ve reached a point where the abuses of the South have become more fairy tale than truth. Given that the perps in those crimes are dead, I’m fine with that; I follow up any embellishment of the South (as though it were still happening today) with my own deliberately ridiculous stories about British soldiers eating Irish children in Belfast. It is hard to convince a Yankee born in the 1970s that they had any hand in abusing blacks...

It was the OJ Simpson trial that woke me up. And, all of what you said. That is why Herman Cain absolutely had to be taken down as a presidential candidate. With a black role model such as him, the race hustlers would be put on defense for a change. The image of a black man being successful on his own would pierce the the diabolical meme and scare the bejeepers out of the Left.
The next upcoming black man IMO is Alan West of Florida. Although the left would bring all guns to bare on him (or should I say rope). He lost his re-districted congressional district by a thin margin, and a questionable one at that. I wish he would run for Governor of Florida. He should have been picked as the VP candidate for Romney.
Yep, the ol’ white Bronco “test drive.” As soon as that shot of OJ heading down the road flashed on the screen EVERYONE in America knew he was guilty. Knew it! KNEW it! But that didn’t matter.
The same thing with the Rodney King case. I followed that one pretty carefully and, given the charges (the police were charged with attempted murder) they HAD to be found not guilty in a court of law. HAD TO BE! The case for attempted murder hadn’t been proven. But, because of black racist pressure, the DA went after the more serious charge. The verdict was correct. But that didn’t matter.
In the end, as Hillary has rightly told us, “It doesn’t matter. What does it matter?” You are trying to think...but it doesn’t matter. You are trying to decipher right from wrong, good from bad. But, it doesn’t matter.
