This is good article about Obama (and yes it was Obama's call), and the continued destruction of the US military. Am I the only one that noticed that all the media talking heads, to include Faux News, hardly covered this story, and the ones that did NEVER mentioned that it was unconstitutional because it is Congress' call on lifting the ban on women in combat and that Congress has not lifted the ban. And like all the other liberal outlets, Faux News was not critical of the decision and basically said "well bless their little hearts, if they want to put their lives on the line like a man, more power to them". "The Five" was the most nauseating, where all three of the so-called "conservative" women on the panel agreed with the decision, and so did the three men, who have never served a minute in the military. I felt like throwing up.

...I thought the president was the CIC and called the shots whenever he chooses for the military? (other than going to war, which this pResident has already done anyway)

“It’s lacking in common sense...”
Hey, come on - it wouldn’t be an Obama national policy if it made any sense.

Someone pointed out here or elsewhere a day or so ago that Obama worries about NFL players getting hurt by such a “violent sport”, but has now problem sending women into the front lines to be blown to bits.
Such hypocrisy!

As usual Phyllis Schlafly is right on target. Panetta deserves the contempt of every normal American male, who respects the traditional male role, which has always included protecting the women and children.

Of course, Panetta doesn't want to be grilled about his order. It's lacking in common sense and it is toadying to the feminist officers who yearn to be 3- and 4-star generals based on the feminist dogma of gender interchangeability and on their desire to force men...Of course, you have to add to the qualifications for promotion an expressed willingness to order the troops to fire upon fellow Americans.
