What the heck. Now America is going to put more of our young ladies, sisters and mothers into war? I know the Israelis are big on everyone stepping up to protect the country but does the USA really need to do this?

Israelis tried it. It failed. Like I said above when the bar is lifted by Congress I’ll believe it. In the meantime just more BS from another Obama liberal.

it’s not about winning wars. it’s about ‘fairness’.

unless they have to sign up for the draft and meet the same physical fitness test standards, it’s really all about feminazis wanting their cake and eating it to.

The Israelis experimented with women in combat and decided against it. Women now only serve in secondary roles.

I get a kick out of the title of the thread, "Panetta removes military ban on women in combat, opening thousands of front line positions."

It creates the impression that there are thousands of women who want to be assigned to combat positions. The reality is that now DOD can order women into combat whether they volunteer or not. I wonder how many women will want to join if they know that they will be ordered into combat.
