Police were at two locations in southeast Oklahoma City Friday night investigating reports of a burglary and a shooting.
Police said five people were trying to burglarize a home at the 1500 block of SE 45 when the female homeowner shot one of them with her gun.
A friend of the homeowner, a man, shot another burglar with the homeowner's gun, police report. The burglars fled the scene and went to a house at the 500 block of SE 79, police said.
Both shooting victims were taken to a hospital and were in serious to critical condition, police said.

Shooting sports are always more enjoyable with a friend.
It’s so much cheaper than going to the gun range for target practice, the targets are free!
5 people breaking into a home, but Democrats want to limit the amount of ammo your gun can have in such an event, in spite of data showing only a 29% hit rate by trained officers!
7 rounds at a 29% hit rate = 2.03 intruders hit. Not very helpful when 5 people invade your home
Damn! Thats some lousy shooting. You cant just wound them or some judge will let them sue.
The THUGS got off easy... they should have been KILLED!!! Better for the TAXPAYERS of OK, instead of having them in JAIL!!
***Both shooting victims***
VICTIMS? They started the ball rolling, now they are victims?
I wonder how 5 guys would do if they invaded Cuomo’s home.
I’d be willing to bet Cuomo and his mafia are well armed with mags larger than 7.
It would be an interesting experiment to force all these anti-gun politicians into a scenario where their lives were threatened and they were as unarmed as they are trying to do to us.
The 2nd Amendment makes no sense whatsoever, if you cannot be as well armed as criminals AND most importantly at least equal the force that government is willing to use against its own citizens.
I agree. Victims????? They are criminals...they deserved to be shot. These reporters/writers are insane.
