The "Center City" section is very middle/upper-middle class. The term "row house" does not mean "dilapidated slum house". In this context it just means a house that shares common walls with the neighboring house. True. There are some areas of the city that were once run down, but hae now "trendy" in recent years (Northern Liberties, the Art Museum area.) Row Homes in those areas which sold for about $ 75,000 ten or fifteen years ago are now selling for $ 300,000 - $ 500,000.
