An elitist Euro socialist hypocrite who waxes on and on about centrally planned “civil society” and other post-modern Marxist niceities and then grabs the gold and makes a run for the border when his turn to pay up comes.

England isn’t exactly a tax haven so for Sarkozy to be fleeing their for refuge demonstrates just how bad things are in France. What ever happened to Europe’s favourite tax haven, Monaco?

Well, that depends. I'd love to see Carter, Clinton, etc., defect, and officially walk the walk of their treasonous talk and actions.
I'm going back about a decade or so, but the UK did have tax laws favorable to foreigners. A number of high earners in France took advantage of it.
If I were a high earning Brit, I would have been upset that the lack of equal protection...
