Yes, he can work up a crowd saying nothing of substance.
It reminds me of a book I read once called “Them”:
Stalin’s Polish puppets by Teresa Toranska. It was about Stalin’s underlings and how they acted. The preface for that book was an incredible description of this same technique.
Will have to dig it out of my library and post that excerpt.
Seeing him reminded me of Mussolini in action..
he makes the railroads run on time and could care less if they are empty becuz no one can afford to ride them or catch them.
it takes a mindset of a man like that to ignore a sane reality and make his own and force others to endure it.
Incidentally, the author Teresa Toranska passed away a couple of weeks ago.
