For it to be legalized it would have to be more popular than ever with a more conservative government than we had during Bush/GOP congress. I don’t see that combination happening again much, and if so just barely.

Honestly, if it were one of my absolute issues that I couldn’t live around, I’d certainly leave over this one. It’s not going to change anytime soon. I think everyone knows that.

When the left has an issue that they "can't live around" (and they have plenty) they don't leave. They get loud and in our faces and guess what? Popular or not, they eventually win because they wear the system and the people down. It happened in the past with abortion, it is happening now with gay marriage and-unless something changes-it will happen tomorrow with euthanasia and the abolition of age of consent laws.

Yet you counsel pro-lifers to leave? No dice. Whether you be a lib Pubbie or a Dem concern troll you'd probably like that, but I'm not going anywhere.
