A question out of curiousity: If one is a NY citizen owning banned guns and moves them to a state where a second home or relative is located, is he still in violation? Seems to me this might be an encroachment on neighboring state laws as well.

Just make it to Texas brother, we have what’s called the “castle doctrine”.

In other words, you may transport a loaded weapon in your vehicle and it’s as if the auto is your home.

Texas’ answer to carjackings.
