At the bare minimum whatever the fed govt possesses, since they are buying with my tax dollars. I have the right to be equally armed.

The Second Amendment was written to allow possession of flintlock muskets.

At the time flintlock muskets were the highest military gun technology available.

The Founding Fathers clearly intended that the average citizen have the highest military gun technology available.

No reason to change that...

When my moonbat liberal colleagues ask me the inane question I simply respond thusly: If the infantry carries it, the people must have it too, but in greater numbers! That usually sends most of them screaming from the room.
